Award winners!

What’s going on?

Pendle Engineering has won Apprentice Employer of the Year (SME) at the 2017 Industry and Employer Awards held by Nelson and Colne College.

What do we think?

“Investing in our people is one of Pendle Engineering’s key business objectives. Taking advantage of the incredibly strong pool of young talent in the local area is an absolute no-brainer in terms of meeting our short, medium and long-term recruitment needs. I can’t wait to meet the 2017 cohort. – Chris Smith, managing director of Pendle Engineering.

What did they say?

“Pendle Engineering provide great support for the Apprentices, keeping a really strong link from the Apprentices to Mentors all the way up to the managerial team, always staying in close contact with the college.” – Dean Johnson, engineering assessor for Nelson and Colne College.

What happens now?

Awards are to be handed out at the Awards Dinner on 17th May at Burnley Football Club.
